Can I organize the different groups in my school?
You can structure your athletes' information by the categories and groups your organization uses, within the features available in miCANTERA.
Can I keep managing the families' payments?
Yes. You can manage the collection options available on the platform, check payments and organize reconciliation. Payment methods and their conditions depend on your plan and on availability in your country.
Can I really start for free?
Yes. You can start with up to 30 active athletes, with no monthly fee, card or lock-in. Payments you record manually carry no miCANTERA commission; if you turn on automatic online collection, the commission shown in your plan applies, and the payment gateway may have its own fees. Plans and prices for your country are in the pricing section.
Does miCANTERA charge a commission on what I collect?
It depends on how you collect. Where a payment gateway is available, automatic collection with a payment link comes included from the day you open your club, and your plan's fee applies (you can see it in the pricing section). What you receive by bank transfer, cash or any other method you reconcile by hand pays no fee on any plan. In countries without a gateway you collect and reconcile manually, also with no fee.
What if parents pay in cash?
You log the payment from your phone and the athlete's record updates. You reconcile that payment yourself, so it pays no fee.
Can I use Cantero on WhatsApp?
Yes. You can message him on WhatsApp to check information and delegate tasks (see who owes, log attendance or update records), at no extra cost. It's the same assistant as in your dashboard and uses the same monthly message allowance from your plan (300 on Free, 1,500 on Club and 5,000 on Academy).
How do I migrate my data from Excel?
Download the Excel template, fill in first name, last name, date of birth and the guardian's phone or email, and upload it at sign-up or from the Athletes panel. That way charges and WhatsApp reminders work from day one. If your list is messy, Cantero can guide you on WhatsApp.
Is my athletes' information secure?
miCANTERA uses an encrypted connection (SSL) and backs up the information daily. Every club is isolated from the rest: no club can see another club's data. Your data is safer here than in Excel.
